About the Course
"Shormann Precalculus with Trigonometry self-paced eLearning Course" provides comprehensive teaching of standard precalculus topics and interactive assessment of the concepts. Functions are a priority, with both standard and real-world applications of the following types: linear, quadratic, cubic, polynomial, rational, exponential, logarithmic, absolute value, trigonometric and piecewise-defined. The student learns to work with functions presented in graphic, symbolic, verbal and numeric form.
The student will work out the problem on paper, submit answers online, and receive immediate feedback and solutions. Also, the student grades are recorded in an online gradebook automatically. The student may bring a printout of the practice problems to work on during class and receive one on one teaching and help with the problems.
The software needs to be purchased and the subscription lasts for two years.
This curriculum will earn the student Precalculus high school credit and prepares the student to take the CLEP Precalculus exam which will earn 3 college credits.
