About the Course
Math Lab (2022-2023)

My vision for this class is to meet you and your child where you are in Math in whichever curriculum you are using. The students in the class will get individualized attention on the skills you are working on in your math curriculum at home. If there are skills that need more attention, another explanation, a different perspective or extra eyes on the process for finding a solution, I can help. I would also help you map out your year to stay on track with future goals. I would be blessed and honored to be part of your child's math education.

If you decide that the Math Lab interests you, please sign up for 1 to 4 thirty-minute block(s) of time for your child to attend. The first 30 minutes is $70 per the 24 week elementary schedule.

60 minutes is $120  -  90 minutes is $150  -  2 hours for $180

During your child's lab time, I will go around the room to assess student work and answer questions. I would provide help on those skills or on working through problems that are brought to my attention by parents or students as you work through your math curriculum throughout the school year. Part of lab time, it is expected that all students will work quietly on their own. The goal is to create a quality time and space at Cornerstone for math to be accomplished with assistance.

About Angela

My name is Angela Schindler, and I am pleased to be offering the Math Lab at Cornerstone this coming year. I have been an educator for over 20 years. I have experience as a classroom teacher with almost every grade from kindergarten through 9th grade Algebra. I also have served as a volunteer in the children's ministry at my church, both in Sunday school classes and summer camp. I began homeschooling my two children in 2019. Some things I love to do with my family are reading and learning together, cooking, hiking, swimming, kayaking, and exploring new places. As I continue on this path God has placed before me, I am honored to use my teaching and math skills for God's Glory in working with other homeschool families at Cornerstone Classical.
