Diane Cullen has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from Taylor University. She has served as the Coach/Director for Truth Advocates Speech and Debate Club since 2012, and as a state representative for the National Christian Forensics and Commnications Association since 2015. Her family has been involved in competitive speech and debate since 2007. She has five children whom she has home schooled.
Diane worked at IUS in the Career Placement Office as the Internship Coordinator for 5 years placing students in internships, coaching them on interviewing skills, dress for success, etiquette, networking, and resume writing. She taught Career Decision Making at IUS for 15 years and has taught Career Development at Cornerstone for several years. She is a certified administrator for the Myers Briggs Type Indicator personality/career assessment. She has also worked in television, has conducted corporate training workshops, and has trained students in various aspects of professional development.
She enjoys helping students discover the gifts and talents God has given them while directing them toward their best career fit. She also enjoys teaching students to speak confidently and effectively for the glory of God, while mentoring/teaching them about Biblical Leadership. In her free time, she finds joy in being outside hiking and kayaking, spending time with family and friends, and designing welcoming and functional spaces for herself and others.
